What your notice must include
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), a notice must contain: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them; identification of the work claimed to be infringed; identification of the material claimed to be infringing and enough information for us to locate it; your contact information; a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of repeat copyright infringers.
Misrepresentation
Under §512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
